Are the Pieces Durable Enough to Hang in a Home or Gallery?

Yes. I get asked this once people realise the cards are real and not printed images. The boards are built to be hung and left alone.

Every card is fixed to rigid A1 board with adhesive that holds properly once it has cured. The surface is then covered with plexiglas rather than glass — lighter, safer for shipping, and it doesn’t shatter if something knocks it. The whole thing sits in a wooden frame that keeps the board flat and protected. I have had pieces in different rooms for a while now (including my own place in West London) and the cards have not lifted or shifted.

Galleries that have taken work have not reported problems either. The main things to avoid are the usual ones: prolonged direct sunlight that would fade any paper-based work, and very damp walls. Normal household or gallery conditions are fine. Because the cards are sealed under the plexi they are also protected from dust and casual handling.

When someone visits the studio they can see older boards that have already been framed and moved around. The edges stay clean and the surface remains even. I don’t claim they are indestructible, but they are made to the same standard I would want if I was hanging one myself. Once its on the wall it should just stay there.
